ICC (International Cricket Council) has awarded wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan, the left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Pakistan captain Babar Azam with prestigious awards.
Babar has been named the Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2021. He received his award, alongside Rizwan, who also got his hands on the silverware for being titled the Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year. At the same time, Shaheen has won the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy as he was titled the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year.
The cricketers showed their concern and shared pictures of them taking photos with the sparkling awards.
“Such respect and honour to keep this highly regarded awards portraying Pakistan. Huge congrats to Kaptaan [Babar Azam] and [Mohammad Rizwan] for their respective awards. It will help push us to do even better,” Shaheen stated on his official Twitter handle.
