Babar Azam has been nominated by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for player of the month award. ICC has shortlisted names for Men and Women Player of the Month Awards for the month of May.
Three men players have been nominated for their excellent performances including Babar Azam, Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Harry Tector.
Babar Azam is selected for his outstanding performance against New Zealand. Najmul Hossain Shanto is a Bangladesh Batsman nominated for accomplishments in a match against Ireland. Harry Tector, Ireland cricketer will compete for his stellar performance against Bangladesh.
The winner will be selected by a voting process which will involve an independent ICC voting academy as well as fans from all over the world. If Babar Azam wins the award, which the whole Pakistani nation hopes for, he will be the first one to have the honor of wining ICC Men’s player of the Month.
