Babar Azam Overtakes Virat Kohli to Become World’s Leading Run-Scorer in T20Is

On Thursday, Pakistan captain Babar Azam made history by surpassing Virat Kohli to become the all-time leading run-scorer in T20 International (T20I) cricket. Babar now has an impressive total of 4,067 runs from 113 innings, overtaking Kohli’s record of 4,038 runs achieved in 110 innings.

Following closely behind is India’s Rohit Sharma, who has scored 4,026 runs from 144 innings.

All three cricket stars—Babar Azam, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma—are set to play in the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match at Nassau County Stadium in New York on Sunday. This match is eagerly awaited by fans, as it will showcase some of the top talent in T20I cricket.

In Pakistan’s Group A opener against the USA in Dallas, Babar Azam was the top scorer for his team. He played a steady innings, scoring 44 runs off 43 balls. His performance helped Pakistan put up a competitive total.
