Babar Azam, Pakistan captain has advanced his place to reach second position in ICC T20 International player rankings according to the weekly update of Wednesday.
This star Right-handed batsman Babar scored only two runs in the first T20 against the team of Zimbabwe in Harare and he was declared as the second slot winner just on the basis of recently-concluded series of South Africa which Pakistan won by 3-1.
According to ICC, superlative form of Babar helped himself to replace Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli who was at the top of ICC men’s ODI player rankings in the previous week and now according to the update of this week it has been seen that he make a strong 47-point surge as to overtake Australia’s Aaron Finch position in the T20I rankings right after scoring 122 in third match.
