The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Science and IT (S&IT) Department of Balochistan signed an agreement on the 5th of May 2021 at Arfa Software Technology Park to establish the ‘DIGIBIZZ Freelancing & Entrepreneurship Program’ in Balochistan. PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and DG S&IT Irfan Nawaz Memon signed the agreement.
S&IT’s initiative to train Balochistan’s youth in freelancing will be carried out in partnership with PITB.
The project will begin with over 2000 students across the province receiving freelancing training.
Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor pledged his full support to the cause of youth empowerment in a tweet, describing the agreement as a significant move toward Balochistan’s digital empowerment.
