China will supply 25 J-10C fighter jets to Pakistan in the coming weeks, significantly increasing the country’s military capability to defend airspace.
According to the article, the first batch of the combat aircraft is being tested in Chengdu, China, where its maker, Chengdu Aerospace Corporation, is based.
“They will be handed to Pakistan once Pakistani air force pilots and technicians have completed an introduction to the aircraft,” a journalist for a Chinese military publication told the Financial Times.
Senior authorities in Islamabad stated that the jets would be delivered before the end of the month.
Images of a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) J-10C fighter jet with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) markings recently surfaced on social media and were widely distributed by media sources.
