As per recent news, Microsoft co-founder, and co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has termed Ehsaas “A State of the Art Program”
During his first visit to Pakistan, Bill Gates held a meeting with Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection. Dr. Sania expressed her gratitude for his words of appreciation and support for Ehsaas.
Further, Dr. Sania gave him an overview of Ehsaas, emphasizing the importance of data, digitization, and transparency as core drivers of all Ehsaas programmes.
She added that end-to-end digitization of Ehsaas programmes and activities reduces human discretion and exploitation.
Bill Gates was also briefed on Ehsaas governance reforms and the Ehsaas Building and Rebuilding Institutions Initiative (BRI), where changes have centred on a three-pronged approach of institutionalizing efficiency through digitization, embedding good governance, and minimizing financial and statutory risks.
