Pakistan Customs achieved a significant success in preventing the smuggling of valuable cell phones at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. Customs officers stationed at the international arrival gate were responsible for inspecting passengers arriving from foreign destinations.
During their surveillance efforts, the staff carefully examined the luggage of three passengers and discovered a total of 51 mobile phones with a combined value of 27.6 million Pakistani Rupees.
Customs officials reported that these passengers, who had arrived in Karachi via a connecting flight from Dubai, had hidden the mobile phones within their clothing, concealed in their suitcases.
