The price of bitcoin surpassed $20,000 on Saturday for the first time in more than two months.
The biggest and most well-known cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin, increased by $922 or 4.6 percent to $20,853 at 1:00 GMT on Saturday.
From the year’s low of $16,496 on January 1, the cryptocurrency has increased by 26.4 percent.
The price of Ether, the cryptocurrency connected to the Ethereum blockchain network, increased by $85.90 to $1,536.3 on Saturday.
