Bitget Wallet Introduces Assetback Feature for Eligible Card Users

Bitget Wallet has introduced Assetback, a new feature for eligible Bitget Wallet Card users.

The feature allows qualifying card-related benefits to be received in selected supported assets, including Bitcoin, tokenized gold through XAUT, selected tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs through xStocks, or stablecoins.

Supported tokenized products may include assets linked to NVIDIA, Tesla, Alphabet and the S&P 500. Availability, eligibility and supported assets may vary by market and jurisdiction.

The Bitget Wallet Card is available in more than 50 markets and can be used at supported merchants through Visa and Mastercard networks.

Under the Assetback feature, eligible users can select a supported asset in advance. Qualifying card-related allocations are then processed according to the program’s official terms without requiring an additional selection during checkout.

Bitget Wallet said the feature is intended to provide users with more flexibility in how qualifying card benefits are received.

“Card programs have traditionally returned cash or points because the infrastructure required to distribute other asset types was not widely available,” said Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet.

“With current payment and tokenization infrastructure, qualifying card benefits can be allocated to supported digital and tokenized assets. Assetback is designed to provide eligible users with additional options.”

Bitget Wallet says it serves more than 100 million users worldwide and provides a self-custodial payment system that combines card payments, QR payments, bank transfers and an in-app shop within one application.

Powered by the Onchain Payments Matrix, the platform connects blockchain networks, stablecoin issuers, liquidity providers, banks, card networks and merchants through a unified payment infrastructure.

The Assetback program is scheduled to become available from August 1, 2026, subject to regional availability, eligibility requirements, applicable regulations and official program terms.
