On Friday, fiery Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, in the middle of all the controversy surrounding her estranged husband’s detention on rape accusations in India, inaugurated an acting school in the city’s thriving Al Karama neighbourhood.
Rakhi, who was wearing a red dress with ruffles, caused quite a commotion in the Indian neighbourhood as spectators jostled for position to get a sight of the celebrity. Large images of the actor in various stances were hung on the academy’s walls.
The 44-year-old actress, who is better known for her outrageous antics and outspoken demeanour than for her acting prowess, claimed that the Rakhi Sawant Training Institute will give wings to Bollywood dreams in Dubai.
