Brave Combat Week showcased the finest international talent and set new standards for combat sports both locally and internationally.
Brands and MMA enthusiasts nationwide witnessed the clash of titans as some of the sport’s most formidable competitors battled it out for supremacy. Representing Pakistan, Rizwan Ali, known as the Pakido Warrior, whose explosive power and relentless drive have made him a fan favorite, beat Srikanth sekhar from India. Abbas Khan, a seasoned athlete with an iron will and technical expertise, also scored an empathic victory over Adham. But the key highlight of the event was a never before Pakistani victory by Ismail Khan, against an undefeated Bagylan from Kyrgyzstan, proving that our fighters can fight toe to toe with the likes of Khabib and Makachev. For the first time, the BRAVE CF main fight card featured 5 Pakistani fighters, with 4 wins, 2 of which were against India.
Man of the moment, Mr. Omer Fareed Ahmed, President of the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation stated: “This isn’t just a tournament; it’s a revolution! Hosting the IMMAF Asian Championships alongside Brave CF puts Pakistan on the global MMA map. Our athletes are ready to show the world what they’re made of, their victories are a testament to our commitment to sports excellence. With the right partners, training regimen and resources, no power on earth can defeat Pakistani Talent.”
Mikaeel Hamid, CCO Impact Sports, event and on-ground partners of BRAVE Combat Week commented: “We are thrilled to support this groundbreaking event. We’re not just spectators—we’re part of a movement that’s bringing world-class MMA to Pakistan. The energy, the passion, and the sheer talent on display will inspire a new generation of fighters. MMA is a gentleman’s sport, and we intend to bring a series of these international events to home soil in the future. After Cricket, Kabaddi, Hockey, Olympics and Squash, MMA will be Pakistan’s new domain of domination.”
Bilal Chughtai, CIO BDigital, Digital Broadcast partners for the event mentioned: “Pakistan has waited a long time for this. We have promised and delivered an eight digit viewership for our five day live event, through our partners Myco and Tapmad.
We would like to thank our sponsors, all of whom are homegrown, Pakistani owned and operated businesses: the Qarshi Group, Fatima Fertilizer, Daewoo, PMs Youth program, Green Tourism, VGOTel, TCL, DHA Lahore, and several others who believe in brand Pakistan.
This wouldn’t have been possible without our partners, Pak MMA federation, Impact Sports, Myco and Tapmad. Pakistan has arrived at the International MMA Ring, and this August – our fighters have claimed it as our own.”
