Relief Again! Petrol Prices Down By Rs. 3.93/Litre

Pakistan’s government has announced a reduction in the petrol price by Rs. 3.93 per litre, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 386.30 per litre.

The decision is expected to provide some relief to consumers amid rising transportation and daily commuting expenses.

However, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has remained unchanged at Rs. 396.96 per litre. The unchanged diesel rate means that transport operators, farmers, and other sectors that rely heavily on diesel will continue to pay the existing price.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised petrol and diesel prices will take effect from October 17 and remain applicable until October 19.

The short-term adjustment reflects the government’s latest decision on petroleum prices, with petrol consumers receiving a reduction while diesel users see no change in their fuel costs.
