Bridge Championship Indian Team Reached Lahore

For the Bridge Federation of Asia and Middle East (BFAME) Championship, which would be held from May 5 to May 13 in a private hotel in Lahore, the Indian Bridge Team travelled via the Wahga Border to Lahore.

Mubashir Luqman, the president of the Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF), welcomed the Indian players, among them well-known industrialist Shiv Nadar and his wife Kiran Shiv Nadar.

The Indian squad arrived at the hotel under strict security and will speak at the news conference tomorrow at 4 p.m., before the championship officially starts.

As Pakistan would be hosting the event for the third time in the history of the championship, the Indian team would be looking to exact revenge for their defeat to the Pakistani team last year.

Pakistan and India are anticipated to compete closely in the women’s team event since the Pakistani team would include three members of the same family.

Fatima Raza, the captain of Pakistan, will be joined on the team by her mother Rubina Hai and her maternal grandmother Qudsia Dosa.
