Can’t Sleep At Night Due To Rising Inflation, Says PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan stated on Sunday that growing inflation is his government’s biggest concern, and that he can’t sleep at night worrying about it.

The premier highlighted that the worldwide inflation and commodity price increases caused by a severe disruption in the supply and demand chain, as a result of the coronavirus epidemic had impacted all countries of the world, including Pakistan.

The premier stated during the sixth session of the “Aap Ka Wazir Azam Aap Key Sath” programme, where he received direct calls from the public.

However, when a female caller asked the prime minister if “now should we be scared a bit” because inflation has risen drastically.

The prime minister responded that he, too, was concerned about inflation, disclosing that he was having sleepless nights over it.
