As per reliable sources, three underpasses or interchanges are being built by city officials to make the busiest Srinagar Highway signal-free.
Ali Nawaz Awan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on the Capital Development Authority (CDA), has informed that the Srinagar Highway will be signal-free.
According to him, Planning Minister Asad Umar will chair a meeting soon to receive a briefing on the project from CDA.
“CDA is already working on making the Srinagar Highway signal free,” he said.
He further added that motorists now face traffic congestion on various locations including G-10 and G-11 signals.
