On Pakistan Day March 23, 2022, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi presented CEO of ARY Network Salman Iqbal with the Sitara e Imtiaz, which is one of the country’s highest civilian awards.
Mr. Salman Iqbal, owner of the Karachi Kings of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), was honoured for his contributions and services to cricket.
Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal’s PSL franchise, has produced a number of talented and quality cricketers. Salman Iqbal also announced the 90-Ninety Bash, a new international cricket league that will begin in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in June 2021.
Further, Mr. Salman Iqbal is also the President of the World Memon Organization (WMO), an international welfare organization with seven chapters in various nations.
