Chief Justice Suggests Giving Bicycles to Judges to Deal With Climate

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, spoke at a climate change conference where he promoted eco-friendly habits. He suggested that judges should use bicycles instead of cars to reduce pollution and set an example for others.

During his speech, Chief Justice Isa highlighted the problem of plastic waste, which is damaging the environment. He stressed the importance of starting environmental conservation at home. This means families should work on rebuilding and practicing values that help conserve resources, such as reducing waste and recycling.

He pointed out that Pakistan is facing serious effects of climate change even though it contributes very little to global emissions. This means that despite producing a small amount of greenhouse gases compared to other countries, Pakistan is still suffering from extreme weather events, floods, and other climate-related issues.

Chief Justice Isa’s message was clear: everyone, including judges, needs to adopt more sustainable practices to protect the environment. By making small changes in our daily lives, like using bicycles and reducing plastic use, we can help conserve resources and combat the impacts of climate change.
