The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, or Airshow China 2024, kicked off in Zhuhai, South China’s Guangdong Province, on Tuesday, showcasing China’s cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
As one of the world’s five major air shows, the scale of the exhibition has reached a new historical high, attracting 1,022 enterprises from 47 countries and regions.
The long-awaited J-35A stealth fighter made its debut at the opening ceremony with a five-minute aerial demonstration, drawing international attention.
As per a report from Xinhua News Agency, the J-35A is a medium-sized multi-role stealth fighter capable of both air superiority and strike missions against ground and maritime targets. The combination of the J-20 and J-35A features both air superiority and multi-role capabilities, greatly enhancing the Air Force’s ability to conduct offensive operations in high-threat and contested environments.
