As per sources, a Chinese company has been granted permission to manufacture liquor in Pakistan. Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited, with a Hub (Balochistan) address, was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on April 30, 2020.
The license was given by the Balochistan Excise, Taxation, and Anti-Narcotics Department. At the Lasbela Industrial Estate Development Authority, the company was launched as a joint venture with Balochistan.
This will be the first Chinese company to set up plant in Pakistan, with extensive experience in the liquor manufacturing industry in China. The company is known for manufacturing world-famous brands, and it plans to launch two of them in Pakistan. Its plant in Lasbela will handle the entire operation, from manufacturing to packaging.
