Street crime is very common in Karachi as every now and then citizens of Karachi are being robbed, criminals have no fear of anything. The lives of the people of Karachi are always in Danger.
During the first six months of this year, citizens lost more than 27 thousand motorcycles, 1173 vehicles, and 14 thousand mobile phones. The law enforcing agencies have no clue against street crime and they don’t have ways to counter it as it is increasing day by day.
Looters also deprived citizens of 1173 vehicles, compared to 919 in the last half-year. More than 150 people were killed this month in robbery and other incidents in the city.
The people of Karachi have been raising their voices but the rulers of Sindh are not concerned about it. Though Police and Rangers have tried different ways to counter street crime but criminals are always one step ahead of them, due to a lack of effective legislation whenever the accused is arrested, he is released after some time without any Trial.
