As per recent news, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has ordered that restrictions over on-flight meal services be lifted solely for domestic flights; however, foreign flights will continue to function under the same rules.
Domestic flights will now be allowed to serve food and beverages to passengers, according to a statement made by the CAA. However, the service has only been allowed to operate on domestic flights.
Further, to avoid the spread of Covid-19, all domestic and international flights had their in-flight dining services suspended.
Domestic passengers will also be able to order food onboard from March 1, 2022.
The PCAA has also directed all local and international airlines to carefully follow covid standard operating procedures (SOPs) along with the notification to unban on-flight meal services.
