Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced a scheme to provide free three-marla plots to homeless and low-income individuals across the province.
In the first phase, 1,892 plots will be distributed in 33 locations across 22 districts. Some of the areas included in the scheme are Hazro, Attock, Jhelum, and Sialanwali.
Different regions will receive a set number of plots. Rawalpindi Division will get 658 plots, Faisalabad Division will receive 288 plots, and the Lahore region will have 518 plots for deserving individuals.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that every citizen in Punjab deserves to have their own home. She stated that the government is committed to using its resources to help the poor and improve their living conditions.
This initiative aims to reduce homelessness and provide stability to underprivileged families. By offering free plots, the government hopes to enable people to build their own homes and secure a better future.
More details about the application process and eligibility criteria will be announced soon. The government also plans to expand this scheme in the future to reach more deserving individuals.
