Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has introduced a large-scale IT training and digital skills program to support 27,000 women from rural areas. The Punjab Skills Development Department will provide these women with six months of online training in essential areas like IT, web development, digital marketing, freelancing, and cybersecurity.
To make learning more accessible, participants will also receive scholarships, along with desktop computers and free Wi-Fi devices once they complete the training. This program is designed to empower women economically by giving them the skills needed to work remotely or even start their own online businesses.
In addition to the digital training initiative, the CM’s Special Children Eid Gift Campaign will bring joy to 40,000 special children across Punjab. Through this campaign, these children will receive Eid gifts as part of the government’s commitment to making sure no one is left behind.
This dual initiative reflects the Punjab government’s dedication to empowering marginalized communities and promoting inclusivity. By focusing on both women’s economic independence and the happiness of special children, Maryam Nawaz’s leadership is fostering a more equitable and opportunity-filled future for all.
