Senior officials from the Pakistan Army, along with Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), are expected to attend an iftar dinner.
Originally planned for April 7, the event has been moved to April 8 to coincide with the conclusion of the ongoing fitness camp that began on March 26. After completing the camp today, the players will travel to Rawalpindi for the dinner.
Following Eid, they will return to Rawalpindi for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand. The New Zealand team, also known as the Blackcaps, is set to arrive in Islamabad on April 14.
The series will kick off with three T20Is at Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium on April 18, 20, and 21, followed by two more T20Is at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on April 25 and 27.
