According to authorities, Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon on Thursday banned the usage and sale of pressure horns, tinted spectacles, and posh licence plates in the city.
Details indicate that Karachi commissioner issued a notification in this regard. According to the notification, the prohibition will be in effect from December 30, 2022, until March 1, 2023.
The use of pressure horns and tinted windows would be strictly prohibited, and vehicles with phoney or extravagant licence plates would be impounded and fined heavily.
The ban’s implementation was mandated for the Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner.
Additionally, Commissioner Karachi instructed all DCs in the city to file FIRs against the offenders.
