Petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan are set to rise again from September 11, 2026, following the latest revision announced by OGRA.
Under the new adjustment, petrol has increased by Rs. 3.05 per litre, while high-speed diesel has become Rs. 5.37 per litre more expensive. As a result, the new petrol price will stand at Rs. 358.77 per litre, while high-speed diesel will be priced at Rs. 381.77 per litre.
The latest increase adds to a series of fuel price revisions in recent months. Since July 22, petrol has recorded a cumulative increase of Rs. 38.04 per litre, while the price of diesel has risen by Rs. 14.56 per litre during the same period.
The higher fuel prices could increase transportation and logistics expenses, potentially adding pressure to household budgets and businesses that rely heavily on fuel.
Consumers and transport operators are likely to closely monitor how the latest adjustment affects overall costs in the coming weeks.
