Hungary’s large corporations in the food, technological, medical, and information technology sectors planned to invest in Pakistan, according to Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
On Thursday, Pakistan and Hungary unveiled the ‘Trade & Economic Window,’ a platform for collaboration in a variety of industries and the exploration of joint ventures in energy, information technology, and tourism.
Foreign Minister Qureshi and his Hungarian colleague Peter Szijjarto established the Hungary-Pakistan Trade & Economic Window and the first bilateral Business Forum via video link, marking a major step forward for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in terms of economic diplomacy.
Foreign Minister Qureshi said the opening of the Trade & Economic Window would increase Pakistan-Hungary collaboration in a variety of fields, including energy, alternative energy, information technology, food, and tourism.
Qureshi stated that Pakistan was prepared to host the Pakistan-Hungary Joint Economic Commission’s second meeting soon. He also said that strengthening high-level ties between the two countries might improve bilateral commerce volume.
