Confiz, with 16+ years of experience in transforming the retail industry, recently signed a multi-faceted agreement with Sheikh Javaid & Sons International (SJS) to digitally transform and streamline their online and offline operations. As part of this strategic agreement, Confiz will undergo extensive discovery to implement, deploy and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 (a suite of ERP business applications), Shopify (an all-in-one commerce solution), and C-Analytics (flagship business intelligence solution for retail). This implementation is expected to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency throughout the customer lifecycle operations.
Established more than 35 years ago, SJS International is a leading cosmetic trading company in the UAE and Pakistan, with primary operations revolving around the fashion categories of color cosmetics, toiletries, fragrances, and innerwear. As an importer of 3800+ cosmetic products and 100+ retail stores, SJS has an extensive sales and distribution network, supplying to 1000+ retail outlets in Pakistan. It is also recognized as the sole distributor to bring the world’s top 6 cosmetic brands to Pakistan namely, Flormar, Rivaj, Jolen, Sovex-Perfume Body Spray, Next net, and Best Choice. Currently, SJS International relies on an Oracle-based home-grown solution to meet their Enterprise Resource Planning needs. This non-integrated solution didn’t provide a clear, consolidated view of their core business operations, consequently affecting cross-channel decision making. They were unable to track and hence, manage activities taking place across their retail outlets and wholesale & distribution centers as all systems and processes were functional in silos.
With exponential growth taking place in both domestic and international markets, SJS International needed a unified solution that provided end-to-end visibility across the entire supply chain and used data analytics to provide qualitative insights for robust decision making, paving the way for scalable growth. To achieve this, SJS International undertook a rigorous selection process and after carefully evaluating Oracle and SAP, selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Confiz as their implementation and support partner.
