The coronavirus positive rate in Pakistan’s largest city is poised to reach 40 percent, with 2,412 new cases confirmed overnight in Karachi.
After conducting 6,124 diagnostic tests in the last 24 hours, the new illnesses were discovered. Karachi’s positive ratio increased from 35 percent to 39.39 percent in the same time period, according to health department authorities.
Federal health experts informed sources that the scenario in Karachi is expected to change in the following week, with the positive ratio possibly reaching 50%, resulting in an increase in hospitalizations. Officials also predicted that daily instances would increase to 6,000.
