Couple Left their Baby at Airport Check-in, Refusing to Buy a $27 Ticket

A couple from Tel Aviv caused a commotion at Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel when they left their baby at the check-in desk before boarding a flight to Brussels with Ryanair. The couple, whose identities remain unknown, arrived at the airport without purchasing a ticket for their infant. They realized their mistake but decided to board the flight anyway, leaving their child behind.

Airport security was informed of the situation and promptly involved the local police. Ryanair confirmed the incident and emphasized that infants should be included in flight reservations at the time of booking. The Israeli Airport Authority also acknowledged the occurrence, noting that the couple arrived late for their flight and left the baby at the check-in counter while rushing to complete security checks.
