Covid-19 Vaccination Made Compulsory for Hajj Pilgrims by the Administration

For the pilgrims preparing to perform Hajj, the administration of Covid19 shots has been made mandatory, sources said.

This year, an estimated 200,000 people from Pakistan will go on religious obligation. But before they leave for Saudi Arabia, they need to be given a dose of Covid-19.

Sources said that pilgrims from all over the world going for Hajj will be vaccinated against coronavirus in their own countries. Hajj will be held this year in the month of July.

The procedure for receiving applications for Hajj scheme at the official level in Pakistan will commence this month, with flight operations for the purpose will start in late May or early June.

In major cities of the country, the authorities will set up vaccination centers to administer shots to the pilgrims.
