Cricket Australia is taking proactive steps to ensure that Pakistani cricket fans have a special and inclusive experience during the first Test of the Benaud Qadir Trophy at Perth Stadium on December 14.
With significant interest already, more than 18,000 tickets have been sold for this highly anticipated match. To cater to the enthusiasm of Pakistani fans, Perth Stadium has designated two specific zones around the Pakistan dressing room, officially named the “Pakistan Bay.” This designated area is intended to serve as a focal point for fans to come together and passionately support their team.
It’s worth highlighting that the Pakistan Bay is specifically designated as an alcohol-free zone, emphasizing a family-friendly environment.
To further enrich the communal spirit within the Pakistan Bay, attendees will have access to various amenities, including tea, Halal, and Desi food options. This thoughtful arrangement ensures that fans can not only enjoy the cricket match but also feel a sense of community and belonging.
Adding to the fan experience, Pakistani cricketers Hasan Ali and Saim Ayub have extended invitations for fans to join a walk organized by Cricket Australia on the first day of the match.
The walk will commence from the well-known Sailani Avenue and guide participants to Perth Stadium, providing a unique and engaging way for fans to participate in the pre-match excitement.
Cricket Australia’s efforts are aimed at creating a memorable and inclusive environment for Pakistani cricket enthusiasts attending the match, fostering a sense of community and ensuring that fans have a positive and enjoyable experience beyond just the game itself.
