Cristiano has the honor of achieving this title for three times hitting an estimated income of $136 million in the 12 months leading up to May 1, 2023.
With this title, Ronaldo has crossed Lionel Messi who achieved this rank in 2022 with an estimated income of $130 million with an equal distribution of $65 million from on-field activities and $65 million from off-field tours as stated by the Guinness World Records.
Ronaldo’s immense earnings include $46 million from on-field activities and an astonishing $90 million from off-field ventures. Ronaldo’s contract with Saudi Arabian Club Al-Nassr in January 2023 doubled his salary to an estimated $75 million.
