David Warner Wants to Retire after Pakistan Test Match

David Warner, a popular name of Australian Cricket team decides to retire from his prosperous cricket career after playing Pakistan Test Match scheduled in January 2024 in Sydney.

The Australian opener is currently in England preparing for ICC World Test Championship against India. He also plans to appear in a five-match ashes series against England as well. Warner also aims to hit the ground in ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India during the later half of year.

Warner expressed his plans to the reporters that he would like to end his career at his home ground in Sydney during the Test match against Pakistan before matches against West Indies.

The cricketer further stated that he always mentioned 2024 T20 World cup would probably be his final game if he gets through the WTC final, ashes campaign, and make it to Pakistan series for ‘You’ve got to score runs”.

David Warner dedicates his career to himself and his family saying, “I probably owe it to myself and my family. If I can score runs here and continue to play back in Australia, I can definitely say I won’t be playing that West Indies series”.
