Davis Cup Tie to be Played in Pakistan as International Tennis Federation Rejects India’s Appeal

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has officially rejected India’s appeal, confirming that the Davis Cup Tie will proceed in Pakistan.

Despite India’s concerns about general elections and security, the ITF’s independent tribunal emphasized that the event is scheduled to be held in Pakistan.

Pakistan consistently maintained that its security situation was suitable for hosting the event, pointing out other teams participating in matches within the country.

The tribunal affirmed that there were no substantial reasons to change the venue, marking the second instance in a month where Pakistan’s position has been upheld.

The Davis Cup Tie between Pakistan and India is set for early April next year.
