Maj-Gen Ahmed Sharif, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), announced on Tuesday that the military paid Rs100 billion in taxes in 2022–2023.
He went on to discuss the taxes paid by other significant groups, mentioning that R260 billion in taxes were paid by institutions operating under the military.
Furthermore, in the corresponding year, the Fauji Foundation made tax deposits totaling Rs223 billion.Furthermore, he revealed that the Defence Housing Authority yielded taxes to the government totaling Rs25 billion.
