DFSK to launch locally assembled SERES 3 Electric Vehicle (EV) in Pakistan with Affordable Price

Regal Automobiles’ introduction of the SERES 3 Electric Vehicle (EV) in Pakistan marks a significant step in addressing the rising fuel costs and shifting focus toward electric cars in the country. With both Completely Knocked Down (CKD) and Completely Built Unit (CBU) options, the SERES 3 offers versatility in pricing, catering to a diverse consumer base.

The CBU variant, priced at Rs. 11,799,000, presents an option for those seeking immediate availability, albeit at a higher cost. A booking fee of Rs. 5,000,000 secures a delivery within three months. On the other hand, the locally assembled version, priced at Rs. 9,599,000 with a booking fee of Rs. 3,000,000, targets a more cost-conscious market and is expected to be delivered in March 2024.

The recent test drives have provided insights into the SERES 3’s performance and features. Described as economical, soundless, and environmentally friendly, the EV boasts instant torque, providing a thrilling driving experience. Its acceleration to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds enhances its appeal. Moreover, the impressive 400 km range, under ideal conditions, aligns with the growing demand for EVs offering substantial mileage.

The convenience of home charging, exemplified by the test driver’s experience, adds to the appeal of the SERES 3. With a fully charged 50 kWh battery, the car eliminated the need for external charging stations, particularly advantageous for urban dwellers. The anticipated launch date remains uncertain, with initial expectations for mid-October, highlighting potential delays or adjustments in the rollout schedule.
