Direct Flights Likely to Start Between Pakistan & Bangladesh

Direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh will soon begin, according to Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi, SM Mahbubul Alam. This move aims to strengthen business and trade connections between the two countries.

To further enhance trade relations, an expo for importers and exporters from both nations will be held in Hyderabad. Additionally, a delegation has been invited to attend the Annual Trade Exhibition in Dhaka, scheduled for January 2025. The event will include easier visa processing for attendees, making travel more convenient for business leaders.

Alam also highlighted Bangladesh’s strong global export performance and emphasized the importance of improving trade ties with Pakistan. He stressed that collaboration between the two countries could open up new opportunities in various sectors, benefiting both economies.

Muhammad Saleem Memon, the President of HCSTSI, spoke about the cultural and trade connections shared by Pakistan and Bangladesh.

He proposed the establishment of a direct trade route between the two countries to facilitate smoother transactions. Memon also suggested simplifying visa policies to reduce trade barriers and increase business interactions.

The upcoming direct flights, trade expo, and simplified visa processes reflect the growing importance of Pakistan-Bangladesh trade relations.
