Dolmen Mall Clifton Hosts Pinktober Wellness Session to Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer

In Pakistan, breast cancer claims the lives of over 40,000 women each year, making it one of the most prevalent health crises women face today. At Dolmen Mall, we are committed to making a difference. Our Pinktober Wellness Session brought together courageous survivors, medical professionals, and wellness advocates in a united effort to raise awareness, offer support, and empower women in the fight against breast cancer. This event was not just about education—it was about coming together as a community to remind every woman that early detection can save lives.

On Friday, 11 October, Dolmen Mall Clifton organized a Pinktober Wellness Session as part of its commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness. Held at the mall’s Food Court, the session welcomed around 70 women, including representatives from the Samina Alvi Task Force, Yoga Shed by Zarminay, Tranquility with Kainat, along with female employees from Sky Towers, Harbour Front, and Corporate Offices Block.

The event kicked off with insightful speeches from members of the Samina Alvi Task Force, including a breast cancer survivor, and Dr. Nilofer Arshad, who provided a medical perspective on early detection and prevention.

Following the speaker session, guests experienced a calming Yoga & Sound Bath session led by Zarminay from Yoga Shed and Kainat from Tranquility with Kainat, promoting holistic well-being. The session concluded with tea, refreshments, and a gift presentation as a token of appreciation to all speakers and facilitators.

At Dolmen Mall, we believe in the power of community and the strength of collective action. Through initiatives like our Pinktober Wellness Session, we aimed to inspire meaningful conversations around breast cancer awareness and early detection. As an empowering space for women, Dolmen Mall continues to foster a culture of inclusivity, health, and hope, standing with the women of Pakistan to create a future where breast cancer is no longer a silent threat but a battle we can all help win.
