Dubai Crowned as the Cleanest City in the World for Fifth Consecutive Year

Dubai has once again been recognized as the cleanest city in the world, maintaining its top position for the fifth consecutive year. This ranking comes from Japan’s Mori Memorial Foundation’s Global Power City Index (GPCI), which evaluates major cities worldwide.

Dubai achieved a perfect score of 100% in cleanliness, surpassing 47 other global cities. This success is largely due to the Dubai Integrated Waste Management Strategy 2041, which focuses on reducing waste and keeping it out of landfills. The city has also invested in smart waste management systems and eco-friendly technologies to maintain its high standards.

Dubai’s cleaning operations are managed by a dedicated workforce of over 3,200 employees, supported by 855 vehicles. These teams work daily to ensure that roads, waterways, and public areas remain spotless. The use of electric vehicles and automated waste collection systems further improves efficiency and reduces environmental impact.

Authorities in Dubai continue to implement new initiatives to keep the city clean and sustainable. Their efforts have made Dubai a global example of urban cleanliness and environmental responsibility. Residents and visitors alike appreciate the city’s well-maintained surroundings, making it a desirable place to live and travel.

Dubai’s commitment to cleanliness and sustainability remains a top priority, and with ongoing advancements in waste management, the city is set to retain its position as a global leader in urban hygiene.
