Dubai Duty Free Announces to Offer 1000+ Job Openings in 2023

Dubai Duty-Free (DDF) is increasing its recruitment efforts to meet the growing demand at Dubai International Airport (DXB). The company plans to hire 1,040 new employees, bringing the total workforce to 5,698 by the end of this year, which is a 22.35% increase compared to the previous year.

This move comes in response to the projected increase in passengers at Dubai Airport, expected to exceed 83 million this year. Factors such as increased tourism, Dubai’s popularity as a destination, thriving business activities, and expanded flight networks by airlines like Emirates and Flydubai contribute to the rise in travel.

DDF aims to attract skilled and qualified employees to meet the growing demand. The company stays updated with retail market trends and prepares in advance for peak travel seasons. It offers a wide range of products and promotions for various occasions, UAE holidays, and major events in important markets.

In 2022, DDF achieved remarkable sales of AED 6.33 billion, marking a 78% increase compared to 2021. With over 17.3 million sales transactions, averaging around 46,912 per day, DDF sold more than 47.3 million units of goods.

Furthermore, DDF has been honored with the prestigious “Best Duty-Free Market in the Middle East” award for the 22nd consecutive year at the “Business Traveler Middle East Awards” in Dubai. This recognition reinforces DDF’s position as a leader in the region.
