Dubai is renowned for its exceptional quality of life. It is set to become an even more desirable city with the introduction of four new bridges. These bridges will reduce travel times and alleviate congestion, making commuting a breeze. When heading to Sharjah, the new bridges will slash travel time by 40%, while those traveling towards Jebel Ali will enjoy 70% reduction.
Streamlined Connectivity and Improved Journey
The new bridges on Garn Al Sabkha Street and the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road intersection will transform the commuting experience in Dubai. Moreover, the primary objective of this project is to ensure seamless traffic flow between key roads such as Sheikh Zayed Road, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, First Al Khail Street, and Al Asayel Street. Furthermore, the bridges will significantly reduce travel distances and times, benefiting both residents and visitors.
Optimized Design for Efficient Travel
The four newly constructed bridges have been strategically designed to optimize traffic flow and ensure efficient travel in specific directions. The first bridge serves as a crucial connection between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, accommodating a high volume of vehicles. The second bridge facilitates smoother traffic flow from Garn Al Sabkha Street to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, heading towards Al Qusais and Sharjah.
Moreover, the third and fourth bridges eliminate overlapping traffic and provide seamless access to Jebel Ali Port and Dubai Production City, respectively. Along with extensive roadwork and improved intersections, these bridges will strengthen Dubai’s transportation network, supporting the city’s ongoing development initiatives.
