Wednesday evening brought a sudden jolt to various parts of Karachi as a 3.2 magnitude earthquake rattled through the city. The tremors were felt in several neighborhoods including Quaidabad, Malir, Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Maymar, and Saadi Town, sending waves of anxiety among residents.
According to the seismological center’s readings, the earthquake originated from a depth of 12 kilometers beneath the surface. As the ground shook, people emerged from their homes in a state of panic, unsure of what to expect next.
