Prime Minister Imran Khan today inaugurated the Ehsaas Saving Wallets (Ehsaas Bachat Bank Account) programme by visiting an Ehsaas Kafaalat payment facility in Islamabad.
The saving wallets programme is a strategic step forward for Kafaalat households in their efforts to better handle financial shocks, fulfil emergency needs, and invest in order to improve their wages and lift themselves out of poverty. This initiative tries to encourage people to save money, which has been proved to assist people get out of poverty.
One of the Ehsaas Strategy’s seven major goals is to bring financial and digital inclusion to 7 million families. The Ehsaas Saving Wallets (ESWs) initiative is based on the belief that digital and financial inclusion will enable women to better take advantage of the Ehsaas National Poverty Graduation Initiative’s opportunities.
