As per the calendar and the Ruet app, Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on Friday, May 14, according to the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry.
The minister, however, clarified in a tweet that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final decision in this matter.
The moon will appear on May 13 and Eid will be on May 14, according to the calendar and the moon sighting app, the information minister added.
