Elon musk says space X will land human on Mars in 10 years in the worst case scenario.

It is no secret that Elon Musk wishes for humanity to colonise Mars. The computer tycoon has been pursuing the concept for several decades, and it appears that his aerospace firm SpaceX will soon make it a reality. When will this happen? Musk claims that it will happen within the next five to ten years.

In a recent interview, Musk was asked once more, “When do you believe SpaceX will put a human on Mars?” To this, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk responded that, in the best-case scenario, SpaceX may land a man on Mars within the next five years. In the worst-case scenario, this may last for the next ten years.

Which is still commendable, given that the conversation is about sending a living, breathing human to the surface of another planet, a prospect that would have been laughed at had we lived just half a century ago. Now, we have large, towering rockets like SpaceX’s Starship, which may soon make Musk’s and many others’ dreams a reality.

Musk was not being overly bullish. Musk paused for ten seconds after podcaster Lex Fridman asked him the question during the interview. He then stated, “best case is approximately five years, worst case is about ten years,” which is enough to pique the interest of all space aficionados.
