Erdogan Supports Pakistan’s Calm, Restrained Policy Amid Tensions with India

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has shown strong support for Pakistan’s calm and careful reaction following India’s recent missile strikes. In a phone call with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he praised Pakistan for avoiding aggressive action and choosing a peaceful path during rising tensions.

President Erdogan said Turkiye stands with Pakistan and is ready to support its efforts for peace. He also welcomed Pakistan’s demand for a clear and open investigation into the recent incident in Kashmir, which led to the current conflict between the two countries.

During the call, Erdogan offered diplomatic help to reduce tensions and stop things from getting worse. He encouraged both sides to stay calm and focus on resolving the issue through talks instead of conflict.

Pakistan and Turkiye have a strong and friendly relationship based on mutual respect and cooperation. Both leaders agreed that dialogue, understanding, and peace are the best ways forward. They stressed the need to avoid war and to protect innocent lives on both sides.

So far, India has not officially responded to these peace efforts. However, international attention continues to grow, with many hoping for a peaceful resolution. Turkiye’s involvement adds to the global push for calm and stability in the region.
