After India A lost the final against Pakistan in Emerging Asia Cup Final 2023, the commentators got trolled by the fans for discussing the ‘best of three finals’.
Pakistan A won by 128 runs in the final held in Colombo on Sunday. During the final match, the Indian commentators discussed the notion of having a ‘best of three finals’ when the Indian A team was about to lose the tournament.
One of the commentators said that every time there must be a best of three finals so the teams have a chance to make a comeback, to which the other one replied with ‘there is no harm in having the best of three finals’.
Fans noticed the discussion and trolled the Indians heavily.
The Indian Test skipper Rohit Sharma also gave the idea of having a three-match series after they faced defeat against Australia in the ICC World Test Championship Finale. According to Rohit, there must be fair opportunities for both teams to win in such big events.
