FBR Collected Rs. 3,428 Billion in Six Months of FY23

In the first two quarters (six months) of the current fiscal year, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs3,428 billion in taxes.


According to the FBR statement, the tax revenues of the company have increased by 17% over the prior year.


While only Rs149 billion in taxes were collected in December 2021, Rs740 billion in taxes were collected in December 2022.


In comparison to the tax refund of Rs149 billion during the same period of the prior fiscal year, a tax refund of Rs176 billion was provided in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
